Full PostCode database

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can aquire a list of all UK postcode with either there OS reference, or Long / Lan? Preferably free! As I would like to put them on my SD card for my GPS as waypoints.... Will this work?

The Royal Mail postcode address file (PAF) contains information which could be translated to lat/long, but it's very expensive to licence. Also you'll find that if you put all postcode locations and their lat/long locations in as POI the search will get very slow indeed - there's more than 2 million postcodes in the UK. Do a search on here - this subject has been discussed quite extensively against the TomTom Postcode search 'issue'.
