will the 3450 work in hong kong?

Hi I live in london and am considering purchasing the navman 3450 jacket. I am possibly moving to hong kong next year and was wondering if i will be able to use it there. Also does the navman work ok in the car without using an external aerial?

The hardware will, the software won't. Navman 3450 will work in-car ok.
