What does the 'powersave' and 'waas egnos' checkboxes do in GPSViewer?

Also I'm trying to use SiFRDemo, I've connected it to COM6 and baudrate 38400 but most of the options in the menu's are greyed out.

When using SiRFDemo you need to switch the device to SiRF mode to see the menu options. Don't forget to switch back to NMEA when you are done.

Lutz, is there a version of SIRFdemo that works on a PC using Bluetooth. the latest version insists on installing USB drivers and only shows Com 1 & 2 as available, and my Bluetooth unit needs Com 7. GPSInfo shows all com ports 1-12.

As stated, all the menu options are greyed out. And where is the comms menu? I have SiRFDemo 3.81
