HP's SD patch/update

Having had my 3970 repaired twice now since i got it in March 03, and having also suffered a few probs with the win box at home, i'm of the CERATIN beleif that the adage "if it aint broke...." was created SOLELY for software & hardware.

So, my 3970 is running sweet and not giving me any grief. And i'm wondering whether i should install the "HP patch for SD slot Service Pack #24963".

i'm not having any problems with sd-card access (other than it can be slow to find locations when route-planning), but i still wonder if this patch should be installed.

BTW, i'm on ROM 2.10.

Advice much appreciated.
