hi



does anyone know any programs that download (via gprs connection) weather satellite data/map and display it on pda with your current gps position?



wouldn´t it be great to have such functionality in plane...

There is software used in the Flight Simulator community which downloads current METAR (Airport weather stations) and weather radar information and displays the output on a map. It's therefore possible for a PDA, I just don't know of anyone who does any software for it.

Teletype offers weather downloads BUT for US only. The latest software supports NEXTRAD radar maps of US.
