Comparing SmartST Prof 1.91 with SmartST 2005

I have SmartST Professional Version 1.91.0045 SP2 running on my iPaq H3970 (Pocket PC 2002) since January 2003 and I have been very happy with it.

I do like the idea of 3D maps for SmartST 2005 but are the maps themselves significantly better/more comprehensive/whatever than 1.91? Any opinions?

Your maps are NAVTEQ, from V2 onwards they changed to TeleAtlas. Obviously the TA ones are newer with roads such as the M6 Toll, but they still have some glaring errors. There are rumours (which have been both confirmed and denied by Navman, depending on what you read) that SmartST 2006 will be with us in a few months. Personally I would wait until, say, the end of June before making a decision, especially since your maps seem to have served you well so far.
