Hi

After reading various reviews especially the one on this site I went for the GPSmart BT version. I borrowed a NAVMAN and found this slow to pick up satellites but more importantly couldn't see the IPAQ screen when the NAVMAN could see the sky in my car!

Anyway the problem is that I can get it to work with the IPAQ and with TOMTOM city maps but not Pocket Streets. Any suggestions please? I tries various combinations of enbaling and disabling BT on each unit. As I said TOMTOM works fine. Pocket streets show the icon when I select Confihgure GPS but then when I select it it gives me a list of COM ports - none of which is either 5 or 8, the ones used by the GPSmart.

Thanks

Martin

Sorry it did work on my system (IPAQ HP2210 - Tomtom GPS BT - Pocket street)
I installed Autoroute express 2003 on my PC. I installed Pocketstreet on my PPC. I did download my maps and in MY Document folder. Then I configured GPS on port 8. see(About/GPS/Configure GPS Receiver). The BT should be activated before that. Then all works fine. I could receive signals from Tomtom GPS BT. But the problem is that the position is not so precise. I read some where ther could be a little corrective sofware. I have to find it.

Good luck
