purchased using a visa dbit card, so I assume I can't reclaim my money through them.
The end of the day I'm down £35, and in need of a Brodit MDA Vario Cradle, regardless of if/when the post office compensate me, I still need to buy another, and you can suspect it will NOT be from Handnav.
Does anyone recommend another, more reliable, retailer please?

Having purchase Brodit mounts from handnav myself and not had any problems, I recommended them to friends, who did have problems - all of us now order Brodit from www.gpsforless.co.uk who have not provided us with problems so far.
However, I've not used them for anything other than Brodit kit (GPS4Less even ordered me a Brodit part not related to SatNav).
I used Handnav to purhcase my Tom Tom Go 300, jeez what a big mistake that was! They have got the worst imbecilles in their customer services department that you have ever seen!
I have to agree with that. I placed an order online, then heard nothing from them. Checked today and it says 'Order failed'. Rang them up, waited in a queue for ages, then spoke to some imbecile who couldn't tell me why the order had failed, thought it was unreasonable of me to expect them to let me know that it had, and clearly didn't give a toss about it. Avoid.
