Ordered a Brodit Pro-Clip mount and Brodit PDA Active Holder (both in stock). Even paid for next day delivery - THEN checked the delivery info to find that orders ofer £75 are delivered Recorded 1st Class - which 99% of the time equates to next day - but I accept not guaranteed next day. Ah well, I'd paid for next day so I'd leave it as that.

Well today is that next day .. no email confirming dispatch or anything. Tried rining, and thats all I get is 'ring ring, ring ring', or the engaged tone.

For advertised stock availability - HandNav are to be complimented. For customer satisfaction, I'm so far left very UNimpressed.

I found HandNav after a scan around some forums - then found that PGPSW had an advert on their site from them, and they supplied some hardware for review - "ahh" I thought .. "decent company then".

After fearing the worst (that the goods will not turn up today), I started scouting around for bad press about them .. then found all the posts in here - experiencing the same problem - with the same lack of ability to actually speak to someone at HandNav.

Wonder if they've charged my Credit Card yet.

Well .. I guess HandNav read this forum (unsupprising really I guess), as they called me after I made this post ;o) Hi guys Laughing

The ProClip that I ordered is, in fact, not in stock. HandNav say that due to the 1,000's of variants in the ProClip - unless they kept stock levels of each and every one in their Database (which they do not), then all ProClips will show as in stock - when in fact - there's no clear indication that they are or not. Not ideal, but worthy of note.

My order was placed with Next Day Delivery - as I needed the Mount for the weekend. HandNav advised that delivery should take place next Monday, but more likely Tuesday - with goods ariving on my door step Tuesday / Wednesday.

Not ideal - but not too bad. At least I now know how they operate. I wanted another ProClip for my wifes car (Pug 107) as well, but decided not to order at the time (for some daft reason). Looks like I'll have quite a wait for that one turning up after I order it eh?

Likewise I ordered a Brodit item back in December, even received an email Deferred Order Released. Still waiting for the Goods
Sent them emails that have gone un-answered, tried phoning and all they do is hang up on you and take the phone off the hook.
They even had the gall to deduct the payment from my bank account on the 21st December.

Glad to see I'm not the only one, I have had a similiar poor experience with Handnav.

I placed an order on 3rd Jan for a Brodit Proclip Mount and Brodit Passive PDA holder, received an e-mail the next day saying the order was processed. Sent them a couple of e-mails since then and got no reply. I have checked my credit card transactions, luckily they have not charged me. So I have just e-mailed them telling them to cancel my order.

I guess I'll try ordering from someone else.

Well now I'm going to throw some mud into the equation.

After the (unexpected) phone call from HandNav Friday advising that the ProClip was out of stock - a parcel turned up today.

Ahh, I thought its just the mount. Nope .. its the mount AND the pro-clip.

Don't get me wrong - majorly pleased that they both turned up this morning, but confused the hell out of me, as to how they managed to deliver whilst they were out of stock Confused

:x

I ordered a custom mount from HandNav for my rx3715 on Sunday, expecting delivery on Thursday. Nothing! Phoned them on Thursday and was told that it was being sent out that day and would be with me tomorrow. Friday and still no parcel, phoned again and asked them for the Royal Mail track and trace number - they said they would e-mail me it straight away. It's now saturday and after tring to phone them all of Friday afternoon (either rings out or engaged), and 4 emails (all with no reply) Still no parcel. My card was charged on Thursday.

Maybe they will read this post, and sort things out!

In defense of Handnav, I use them as a regular supplier and have never found a problem with them, i apprecitae you are not making it up, but in my experience they have always been reliable

I used Handnav to purhcase my Tom Tom Go 300, jeez what a big mistake that was! They have got the worst imbecilles in their customer services department that you have ever seen!

For my own part I put the wrong postcode on the form as I gave them works by mistake, however you would have thought that by giving them your landline numbers, your email address and your mobile that they would just contact you to advise of this problem.
Dont be silly that just didnt happen!

The result was the order was cancelled, no call to me advising me of this so I waited in all day thinking "it will be here soon surely" So when it didnt turn up you can imagine how I was.

So when I spoke to them they advised.....You can have it delivered again in the morning if you make the payment again giving us the correct postcode.

So I drove the 50 mile round trip home from work to get my credit card phoned them up and waited in the next morning.

Guess what??
Yep you guessed it, it never turned up.

This time I phoned them up and quoted my order number, 'sorry we dont have any reference of this order'
They finally managed to track it down somehow after keeping me on the phone for 20 minutes.

Gave me the order number to phone the delivery company, I phoned them and they had no item matching that number.

So further calls back to Handnav and eventually sorted it out, the gist of it is I had to drive to the next town to pick up the Tom Tom from the couriers as other wise I would have had to wait another 2 days for it too be delivered.

To add insult to injury it was supposed to come with the speed cams pre installed which it didnt. But I can live with that as otherwise I wouldn't have found this website.

So the outcome was that Handnav apoligised for thier rubbsh cutomer service and sent me a (compatable) mains charger for my tom tom go.
Sadly thats not the end! This is now not working and I am in the middle of sending that back to them to get it fixed or replaced.

From my experience they lack co ordination in the customer services dept and a bit of civility would not go a miss either!

I will let you know how I get on with the charger.

A fortnight ago, I returned a Faulty Brodit Proclip to Handnav. Still waiting a reply despite numerous Emails.

Does this constitute THEFT.

Well, my experience is just as dire...
I have used them before, plenty of times, and never had an issue. until I replaced my phone & wanted to update my gps gear.
I posted before about an order for a Rikaline 6033, that took 2 weeks to actually be shipped (when it said it was in stock), which then never actually arrived, got the tracking number, called , emailed, called, emailed direct to Chetan..(who not once had the courtesy to reply). Eventually after having to wait another week for them to accept it was lost in the post, then sent another which arrived the next day..

So skip forward a few months, I order a Brodit mount for an MDA Vario, instock, give them another try..order processed and next day it says its deffered, and then finally a tracking number appears on the site. This time, check the number, it says its been delivered! Not with neighbours, so ask the postman, who umm'd about it, said he'll find it (said he left a card), check at the local depot twice, nope, email handnav for assistance - still waiting a reply.
So as it stands, I'm out of pocket, have not received the goods I ordered, Handnav have not had the decency to reply to my multiple emails, nor return my phonecalls. I am attempting now to claim my moeny back from Royal mail, which I think is disgraceful, as surely its Handnavs responsibility to claim this (as they have all the original ordering/mailing paperwork) and send me a replacement..

Never again!

Further to my previous post. I am now a lot happier, my Brodit Proclip replacement has arrived.

But why couldn't Hndnav just let me know by Email. A fortnight is a bit of a time to have now news.

Assuming you paid by credit card, take it up with the issuer, they don't always take kindly to this type of action (ie taking the money and failing to respond).

However, from personal experiences of having to get credit card companies involved, I have found that the mastercard ones are more willing to help than the VISA ones (even when they were with the same bank!)

I bought a Handnav cradle late last year. It broke, and as I was travelling 'down south' past their 'office', I offered to call in to their 'office' to collect.

For office read 'dining room' - a nice 'knock through' affair into the living room. Nothing wrong with running a business from home of course, but the customer service has to be there too.

What annoyed me though, was that I actually had to re-purchase the broken item. I'd already sent the broken one back - recorded delivery. It was never signed for and was subsquently lost. As this was an item from a slightly larger order, Mr Handnav advised me to claim the full amount from Royal Mail "for my inconvenience". As I'm not into theft and fraud I didn't do this (in fact, I didn't claim at all - couldn't be bothered with the paperwork).

A rather worrying level of service. Still - the cradle is actually rather good.
