HI all,
just wondering if anyone can help me out with a small problem.
I have the camera database downloaded to my gnav10. When I got it I only had a favorites catergory so I created auto alert 1 and auto alert 2 catergories. I have redlight cams in auto alert 2 and all other cams in auto alert 1.
MikeyF was very kind to send me some voice warning files and an alertered "DestinatorVoiceManeuvers.inf". This is the cut out section of the commands for auto alerts which I now have:

I have replaced the old 141(check speed alert) file, put in the 142 (redlight cam alert) file. And I have replaced the inf file with the one Mikey sent.
Problem is I am getting the same "check speed camera ahead", when I am approaching a redlight camera. It does not give me the 142 (redlight camera alert). There are no red light cameras stored in auto alert 1. They are only in auto alert 2.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?????Please!
One other thing, if anyone also knows how to change the visual favourites alert on the screen, help in this would also be much appreiciated. I have tried all sorts but have not succeeded.
Ok, is there anybody that can help I am really frustrated with this. I have tried all sorts now and come to the following conclusion.
There is a single word command at the bottom of my DestinatorVoiceManeuvers.inf:
::SW,FAVORITES_ALERT,0,0,Speed,"Warning Speed Camera ahead"
This seems to be controling all the voice alerts. If I take it out or alter the command I only get a visual alert.
The earlier part:

After playing around with different combinations of commands, I figured out I can delete this entire section and it makes no difference to the voice alerts. So I ask myself - why is it there if it doesn't do anything. I still get the "warning, speed camera" at 400 and 100 yards before target without this section. This is obviously triggered by the SW command:
::SW,FAVORITES_ALERT,0,0,Speed,"Warning Speed Camera ahead"
Q - Those with destinator 3/PN - does your inf file have this command? I only ask because some people can obviously get two sepertae alerts.
I even tried to change the SW to MW or MC. and put in the distances. I got a voice alert that told me to "take the fifth exit"???
