Garmin StreetPilot i3 only £99.99 Only joking, but I bet it wont be long before we see this. Seeing as I paid £199.99 I will be soooo pleased. Gun Shoot Out

Somerfield have been selling them for £149.99. However, since the offer has officially finished they have dropped the price to £99.99 for a quick sale.
For those living near Southampton, the Hedge End Somerfield has around 5 in stock.

As a new member of this forum I am compelled to say that it has saved me £80. I had decided on a StreetPilot 3i and noticed that they were flogging for about £150 on Ebay. I thought it strange that so many individuals had one to sell, notwithstanding unwanted Christmas gifts. Then I spied a thread mentioning cheap 3is (£99.99) at Somerfield. It appears that they are flogging excess Christmas stock off cheap - afterall, who would think of buying SATNAV from them? I tried my local with no success, but I thought that I'd have the best chance at a store that wasn't in a big city like Shefield. I looked up Somerfield's branches on their website and phoned such a branch. They had 'five or six' left. Needless to say I went there 'a tout vitesse', and got lost on the way. I've now got it and I'm well-pleased. Now I know where all those Ebay i3s have come from.
p.s. Can I load standard Garmin mapping (i.e. Europe) provided I have the unlock code?
