Please help - I am new to TomTom Navigator

HI EVERYBODY,

I have just purchased the Mio walker Pocket PC with Tom Tom Navigator 5.000.

As I am new to this I would like as much help as possible with items such as free and useful downloads, what I should have installed etc etc. THE MORE INFORMATION THE BETTER - I am defo a beginner.

Please help me to make the most of my new toy :D

Ah - now I tried this but it seemed to crash my TomTom. It says these are only available for the 5.10 and 5.20 - I think my one is only 5.000

Any other ideas????

to find out what version you have tap the signal meter and in the next srceen there is a version number it should say 5.00 if so then you need to upgrade to the lastest version from the link below

You mean you buy a new device, and it's not already upgraded to the latest version ? Seems a poor show to me, I would expect the very latest.
