I have recently bought a 2002 Citroen C5 fitted with TrafficMaster Oracle. When I got the car the system was not working so Trafficmaster have fitted a new unit. I have had a quick trip on the local motorway and have had the green light on the dash showing but thats about it. I don't want to go out intentionally in to a traffic jam to see how it works. Can anyone tell me what I can expect from the unit, will it for example say ' traffic stopped in 2 miles' or what.

I have looked at the Trafficmaster and Citroen sites but there is no detailed information on it.

Can anyone help please.

I've got the Vauxhall version and that is pretty much what it does.... but only on the motor way. With mine I have to press the TM button twice very quickly to switch from Manual mode to Automatic mode... which is what your describing I think.. in other words green is no james and Red would be BUT you would only get a warning if there was a jam.

It also works on where you are and what direction your heading if its the same unit.
