I'm just finished a rough application that converts addresses to POIs in TomTom. I now need someone to give it a test and let me know if it works for them ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
To test this you will need MapPoint, as this is where the long/lat data comes from.
If you fancy having a go, and aren't afraid of applications falling over in great wobbly heaps let me know ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Rowen,
can you please tell us what's special about your application - there are already quite a few proggies out there that do the same thing... _________________ Lutz

I see where you are coming from now ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
Mappoint allows you to import you Outlook address book and will create a pushpin for each address. At the moment, my code is an intermediary between MapPoint and TomTom's makeov2, as the data needs to be reformated.
What I am aiming for is a single click solution to convert my address book to a POI database, thus overcoming the limitations of TomTom's (at times obtuse) address look up and postcode system.
Not sure I've explained it to well, but it is friday afternoon... :/
If you know of something out there which will do something similar, please do let me know ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
