Morning all,

Firstly TOPsite, its really opened my eyes to pda's and gps alike.

I'm soon to purchase a PDA/GPS bundle for use as my new found carrier as a courier ( I'm now ex-mobile comms Smile )

So some advice would be really appreciated, I was thinking along the lines of an Ipaq 3950 & TTN2 from www.totalpda.co.uk who seem to have them at a great price. Anything I should be wary of or do I just trawl the forums and correct the faults as they appear

Cheers in advance.

Welcome and thanks for the praise

Nothing you really need to be wary of, depending on your budget a Bluetooth GPS is the best option but a 3950 does not have a Bluetooth transciever so you'd need a 3970, TTN2 will suit your needs and allow you to create custom POIs for regular drops etc. You may want to invest in a decent cradle mount but if you're changing vans all the time then a windscreen sucker mount may be the simplest option.

Aside from that if you do choose Bluetooth then you may wish to consider the newer iPAQ 2210's but if GPS nav is all you're after and you're on a budget go for the best deal you can get on a 3950 with TTN2 and a TomTom GPS Mouse.
