Ditched my seldom used iPAQ/TT5 solution as I have a Nokia it will run on and I'm sick of carting the lot from one lorry to another.
Due to the fact I already have a suitable BT GPS receiver, is it possible just to buy TomTom Mobile 5 only without the BT GPS bundled in?
Only need the software...
Failing that, anyone wanna buy a BT GPS receiver?  |

Hi Conor, Looks like you came to the same conclusion I did and that using it on your phone is a lot less hassle than on your iPaq!
Do you have the old silver BT reciever? Are you aware that the new one is of far superior quality? |

The TomTom rep at Saturday's meet told me that they were now selling the software without the BT receiver.
However, I've yet to find it advertised either on the TomTom site or anywhere else.

Also after the software only for an Orange C550. I've emailed TomTom for an answer.
Very frustrating, there's no way I'm going to buy another GPS receiver for 299 Euros in their pack, are they trying to make me use cracked software which I'd really rather not use??? |
