Hi gang,
I too am getting CPL6 due to it being the only one that PARTIALLY covers Mexico, it is off quite often driving to enzenada via San Diego though.
Especially on Border, i lost signal where it is so ever important due to thousands of cars and a traffic rerouting is vital down thee.
So does anybody know if there is a mexico map that is more accurate ?
As it stands, on The Toll Road, for most of the stretch through Rosarita for example, i am in the water according to CPL5.
I am hoping that the new BT receiver will be more accurate.
I have also reported again discrepency on major highway in my area.
The website e0mail address came back answered from Australia ?????? to inform me to send this to US, they didnt even bother to do it themselves.
I did as asked and never got a confirmation that it was reeived.
I however agaion had this documented during order and was told it would be handd to support, so i am hoping they will finally resolve a major route to propper identification

My CP5 shows only major roads in Mexico.
It does show the roads between Rosarito and Ensenada in Baja California, MX-01D and BJ-1, which you probably are seeing.
The 'underwater coastal cities' problem on the PPC was associated with PPC version 5.0.1.13, and is fixed when you upgrade to the patch 5.0.1.61, available at the ALK support website USA.
I don't think your problems are related to GPS receiver accuracy.
I too wish there were more detail for Mexico, why not?
Good luck. _________________ Doug
