Origin b2 - New GPS 'mouse' needed - which type?

Hi,

I may have found the cause of the "mentalist" issues I posted about on here a few months ago.

Having now removed the b2 from the car due to it being really erratic I have found a small cut in the wire leading to the GPS aerial, it appears to have been rubbing on a piece of plastic inside the dash.

So to finally see if I can get the unit working or put it to sleep for good I want to try a new aerial - the only problem is that my basic knowledge of these things means I'm not sure what type of connector I need to plug into the b2 loom.

A bit of investigation found 'MCX' type ones as looking very similar - is this the sort I need to replace the standard one? (I'd rather try a newer type than buy one from Origin, who won't answer this question for me!).

The b2 antenna uses an MCX connector so any external antenna with this should work fine.
