Hi

First post so please be gentle with me, I break easily!!

I have a 510 premium which came with a remote control which I find very useful. I have seen the new 520 and am thinking of upgrading to this model, but wonder whether my existing 510 remote control will still work.

It should do. My iCN635 remote worked with a 510 and a 520.

Hi all

just bought my wife a new 520, and I can confirm that the remote does work with both the 510 in my car and the 520 in her car

I've thought for a while about getting the remote for my 520 - but wasn't sure I'd particularly use it.

I'm guessing it's more for a passenger to use while the unit's in use?

If your windscreen is steeply raked, you might find it advantageous to have the remote even as a stationary driver. Beats leaning forward to tap keys all the time.
