Hello Jeff,
You can get the Tomtom logo from http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/?action=1&text=tomtom. Its in EPS format so you'll need an image editor, such as Photoshop, that can open it.
PM me if you're stuck and I'll send you the logo as a TIFF or BMP or something.
David. |

Can'r get splash screens to work on TTG Classic. Have tried all the premutations on as many threads as I can find following all instructions. Can somebody please confirm how to set a personalised splash screen for TTG Classic.
Thanks

With all respect, the instructions should work if you are following them to the letter. Which instructions are you referring to?
As a start, try using one of the ready made ones from this site as they will download in the right format and orientation. Splash screens MUST be uncompressed .bmp format, 24bit, 240 pixels wide by 320 high.
What you see in this thread are NOT. This forum will not accept .bmp pictures, only jpg, and most have been rotated back to landscape so they LOOK normal.
Assuming you have got v5 or above software, once you have downloaded one, rename it splash.bmp and save to the root of the ttgo. Then restart your Go and you should see it.
If you are still having problems please post the instructions you are following. |

Thanks for your reply. I've since discovered that I had done everything correctly, but my TTG needed "several" restarts for the new splash screen to register and display. All's fine now.
