iTIS and Annual Charges

I am a complete newbie at TMC so I apologies if this question has been asked already though I did try to seach for it here..

I researched the topic prior to upgrading my Kenwood DV3200 with a TM320 but what I could not ascertain was whether iTIS charge an annual subscription or whether the service is free. I have been to the iTIS and TMCForum web sites a number of times but can not see any such subscription..

is iTIS currently free for Kenwood/Saab systems??
