8O any one else noticed this if your traveling south past m6 j4a it will tell you to turn on to the m42 south then re join m6 via toll road problem is you cant join on to the toll road bit which takes you back onto the m6 south you will have to go to jn 6 m42 then all the way back to the m6 doh cost me lots of time and fuel especialy when your driving a 580 scania :x :x if you are passing see what yours says like to know sorry for the moan i feel better now tomtom5 rules... |

I don't know if this is what happened in your case, but effects like this can often happen in itinerary planning if you insert a waypoint with the map set to too small a scale. The chosen waypoint can be in the opposite carriageway and send you on a mini detour. I have done it myself and not spotted it until I enlarged the scale to check a route before setting off

sounds like autopilot syndrome to me :P ive noticed this to and tend to just ingnore it dont why i does it though hasnt caught me out yet _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

it never caught me out i would have just followed the m6 but curiosity took over and i tryed it doh i travel up and down there all the time . this unit has had that many hard resets because of tt5 problems i cant remember so there's no points any ware well all i can say now is i know now .........just stuck with keyboard issue and setting road speeds apart from that tomtom rules |

Hi Adamf. My TT3 and now TT5 have always tried to send me onto the M42 as you described. I have always ignored it but have been tempted on many occasions. Having read your note I won’t bother. |
