I have just upgraded from my old setup to an XDA orbit running TTN6

I loved the way CheckPOInt can assign individual warnings to speed cameras, so that the speed and type of camera is given in the warning.

I even produced my own set of customised sound files to make it even better.

Unfortunately running CheckPOInt with TTN6 on an Orbit seems to be a no-go. So slow it completely locks the device, resulting in having to reset the machine, even though it has a 1Gb storage card

My question is two-fold.

Is there a configuration which allows me to run the applications successfully together, i.e. where each of the programs is installed? Program settings etc....?

Do I need CheckPOInt? Can I assign different sounds to different POIs in TTN6, or is it the same as TomTom ONE, only one POI warning sound?

Any help would be appreciated. Sad

You can assign a single audio file to each POI, each spoken alert can be different. What you cannot do is have two audio warnings per camera POI and neither is it possible to have an over speed warning.

I use the spoken alerts my Artemis and they work very well, I doubt you will ever get CheckPOI working correctly on the device though. So read up on using ogg files which will work on your device, there is a download page of warning sounds available from this site for free, along with installation instructions click Here - Mike
