Am currently using the wired TT receiver with TTN3 but am thinking of changing to a bluetooth receiver. Have read lots of good things about the Globalsat BT-338 on these forums and wondering if this is a good combination?
Just seen on advertised on ebay for £95 incl postage - does this look kosher to you? Or can you suggest another better/cheaper supplier.

Cheers for any advice.

Tom

Tom,

A few people have reported problems with the Globalsat receiver and TTN vers 5 (it appeaars to work with TTN 3). TomTom have stated that they cannot support problems with non-TomTom GPS Receiver units.

Try www.superetrader.co.uk. I just bought the TomTom Bluetooth GPS Receiver Mk II for £112.00 all in (including P & P). It works great with my TomTom Navigator Vers 5 upgrade. When I got mine on Friday they had three left, they sent it out on Thursday and I got it at my work address at 10:00, great service.

I get five reception bars even with it placed in my closed glove box in the car.

Sounds interesting - many thanks for that.
