i can not get home, fav and poi to save on my rz1710
they go back to default when i switch back on
memory card is unlocked

Sounds like you are not exiting the programme properly, if you switch off the PDA before exiting the TomTom Programme it will not save any changes you have made

i am using exit application
i can save itinerary planning
but none of the others
its getting a right pain having to sorting out the warn when near poi every time i use it |

maybe your original settings file is set to read-only somehow?
Itineraries are saved in a separate file. |

yes, It was the great-britain-map.cfg set to read only.
Dont know how that happen though. |
