Have just upgraded to Tomtom Navigator 6. Is it no longer possible to set speeds for motorways, A roads etc in the preferences? Perhaps I'm miising something obvious but I can't find it! Perhaps 6 is better but in my previous version I couldn't get close to average speeds!

| You cannot set the speeds you prefer when using version 5 or 6, this "Feature" was dropped at the demise of version 3, quite a shame as it was a useful tool IMHO - the version 6 software uses pre-determined values for the actual roads which you cannot change - Mike |

Thanks for quick response, I can stop looking now  The other feature I'm going to miss is the ability to swop menu items around. |

| You can still mess around with the menu in TomTom version 6 - there are online menu builder web sites to make things even easier (although I still use the note pad method, to move the lines around within the menu file) have a look Here for a start point - Mike |
