Hi, me again im afraid.

I fancy a 5450 but Im a bit confused about what I get.

All of the sites I look at list loads of accessories with this machine, but stuff that I wouldnt expect to have to pay extra for like charger cables, sync cradle etc.

Now I accept I will spend extra for a case (although for 500 quid why??) but what else do I need besides a memory card?

Like I said it appears from the retailers I need to buy everything.

Cheers

You should get a mains charger and stylus with most Pocket PC's, but most manufacturers won't give you much more than this. A car charger can come in handy, a case and also a second desk charger and cradle if you want to use it at the office.

With my 5450 I got:

  • PDA
  • Desk Charger/Synch leads
  • Spare Stylus
  • Case (hard protective cover)
  • CD with software Including Outlook 2002

So you have just about everything you need there. As Dave says a car charger can be useful, but you will often get one if you buy a GPS system as well.

Hi

I go tthe same as Mike above, always had Palms before my 5450, and always had to buy a better case to protect them.

The stnadard case that you get with the 5450 is excellent, I don't see why anyone would want to buy anything different?

Ditto on the above, everything you need in the box. Total agree with LocktighT, the case supplied is more than adequate.
