Hi
Checked on Ebay for an in car charger/holder for my O2 XDA Mini S and found that only Superdog 5000 was selling what I wanted for £30 + £5 P&P decided to google it and it came out with PDA Mods who was selling the same thing for £19.99 + £3 P&P. On thinking I was saving over £10 from the rip off Superdog 5000, I placed an order with PDA Mods ... and then I read this post ... 
Fortunately it arrived after 48 hours and it works fine but I'm sure I could have picked something up similar in a Hong Kong market for a couple of quid (looks quite cheap and tacky) though Superdog reckons rrp is £69 !!! It is confusing with this 'company' as it says it was sent from Vivo (or something like that) and I was being billed by another company name (not on these lists). I can't help thinking this geezer is coining it in and may be doing it this way for 'tax reasons' but at least I got my goods ...  |

Actually it's on buy it now from Superdog 5000 for £45 & £8 P&P how can they get away for charging such varying prices using various guises for what is obviously made in Taiwan cheap tat ?

I bumped into this thread by accident. I have bought low cost items from PDAMODS through the link on this website but haven't had any problems.
First of all a seller does not have to accept an order nor do they have to give a reason. It is not a restriction of trade. More importantly it calls into question all the other links and the business' reputations as being honourable sellers by having one company which seems to be causing problems. One has to ask, how many of the other links are for businesses with dubious sales practices?
For those who have had problems, I assume you claimed against your credit card issuer under the Consumer Credit Act?
Just some thoughts! |
