IPAQ rz1710 and TomTom 4.400 POI's not visible to enable

We have downloaded checkpoint v2, poi edit, ov2 and bmp files (extracted) and also read a lot of your forums but we are still having problems.

All the POI's ie 'AA walks', 'Pizza Hut' all the way to 'Zoos', including 'pocketgps_uk_gatso' files etc are appearing on the ipaq sd card in Great Britain Maps. However, on TomTom, I can see Pizza Hut, AA walks etc as a POI but not the 'pocketgps_uk_gatso' files. Therefore I can not enable this POI.

I tried to 'add a category' by typing in the name pocketgps_uk etc but I received a message that there was already a category with this name stored.

In addition I have no files showing in the overlay settings on Checkpoint.

We would really appreciate your help.

Firstly CheckPOInt is not compatible with v4.00 software so you ought to remove this.

Regarding the POI files, you need to ensure that you have the .ov2 and .bmp file for each POI Type installed in the map folder. Then perform a soft reset and see if they then appear.

Thanks Darren, just to say a big thanks and shock at the speed that you have resolved my problems, bearing in mind I have had sleepless nights working on this. I am pleased to say that it is now working. :D
