Thanks for a great site

I Stumbled across Pocket GPS World a few weeks ago as I pondered my first GPS purchase.

I’d used GPS extensively at work, but not for a few years, and I reckon it hones the senses a bit when you’re shelling out your own cash. Luckily, a few of my workmates own SATNAV gear that spans the Palm / Pocket PC spectrum, wired and BT, and a neighbour has GPS on his Orange phone, so I had a pretty good idea what I was looking for.

Anyway, after reading a few of your reviews, checking the forums and following the odd link or two, I decided to plump for a Mio 168. I hadn’t realised that I could buy a PDA with integrated GPS and software so cheaply, and finally bought a Mio from a local Staples at the same price as the best online deal I could find (though it was bundled with Route 66 - cheaper software I’m sure).

So thanks for a superb site and some really helpful contributors that led me to a system that I’m very happy with 

Thanks for the positive comments, the Mio is a good choice, Route66 is OK but once you've found your feet you can decide if it suits you or if an alternative package would be better.
