Navman announcement...?

On the CeBIT page, there's a picture of something from Navman that looks like it goes into a standard DIN car radio slot, and the information is "Something not yet announced from NavMan so we can't talk about it!".

So, did it get announced?

It's a future release. Basically a Navmna branded DIN slot sized GPS Nav Solution with motorised screen and SmartST.

They only had a demo on show actually inside the stand. When we asked the NavMan Marketing Manager about it he said it doesnt exist!!

I often wonder if some companies might consider concept GPS, along the same lines as concept cars. This would test market opinion and see if there might be a market for a product. We might get to see all sorts of neat gear then. Only problem is we will want them!!!

One thing that we did see was a competition of modded PC computers. These ranges from a computer running inside a fish tank, to a replica of Alien, to a completely see through computer and monitor.
