Editing posts to the forums

Is it my imagination? - I thought i could edit posts that I made to these forums, but now don't seem able to - perhaps I am mixing this up with some other site I used?



Now that's funny I can edit this one, but another I made earlier in an other forum here? !

Do you mean AFTER you have sent them? That could lead to a real muddle! Surely it is only the forum master that has the ability to edit in that way. After you type what you want to submit you can see it in Preview Post, and then if you want to alter it close the window and you get taken back to Post Reply where you can edit your post before sending it to the forum. You can edit posts directly after you've posted it if you've made a mistake, and also if nobody has posted a reply to the new thread. After this you won't be able to edit them, only moderators will be able to.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.

Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
