TomTom 5 for Palm?

I have been let down by Navman who promised me some weeks ago that the new SmartSt v3 would be OK on my Tungsten C when in fact, according to their tech people today, they have not actually tested it on a T/C and are unlikely to.

So thinking that TomTom may offer me an alternative here are a few questions for anyone "in the know".....................!

a) Is there anything new (version 5?) coming up soon for Palm from TomTom or should I buy version 4?

b) Will it run on my Tungsten C?

c) Should I just throw in the towel and go to ViaMichelin who do support the T/C?
