Hi,
Are the cameras shown as TBA, ones where you do not have the information to set the speed limit.
If so there are some in East Anglia where I know what the relevant limit is.
How do I advise?
Leigh

Hi Leigh,

Yes, you’re spot on, the new TBA “to be advised” category is a list of known camera locations that we don’t currently have the speed limit.

Thanks for offering to help. All information (new/moved/removed/speed/etc) is very usefully and helps to make the database as up to date as possible.

Please send information to Richard (Oldie), our Camera Database Administrator at the following address:

Cameras [at] PocketGPSWorld [dot] COM

If you have just speed limits (i.e. the cameras are located correctly) then you can send Richard an email stating the unique id of the camera and its allocated speed limit.

Alternatively, if you do know the longitude and latitude of the camera (i.e. you wish to report a new one for the database) then you can use the following format to send them in:

Please remember to include the type of camera and the speed limit of the road when sending in an update. Text entries in the following format will help.

Longitude,Latitude,Name:m@nn,"Information #AA" where

Longitude and Latitude in decimal degrees if possible (but any format will be accepted)
Name is your surname
m is a unique id (1,2,3,...) or existing camera ID,
nn is the speed zone (30,40,...)
Information is explanatory text
#AA denotes camera type (#G Gatso, #GT Truvelo, #R Red light, #M Mobile, #S S.P.E.C.S, #T Temporary/Roadworks)

For example
-0.12345,51.23456,Davies:1@40,"A325 Farnborough Road. Northbound #G"
GATSO:1234,"Does not exist"
GATSO:3456,"Redlight camera. On A325 #R"

Regards,

Correct, the .txt file in the download explains in detail. Any information you can add is welcomed and should be sent to cameras @ pocketgpsworld.com
