Problems with Fujitsu Loox 420.

I'm trying to use my Fujitsu Loox 420 (Windows 2003) with Tomtom Navigator and the Fortuna Bluetooth Clipon.

A few issues:

- When I launch Tomtom Navigator, I ALWAYS have to select which Bluetooth device I want to use.

This is really annoying.
I've also got an iPaq which has Windows 2002 or below.
I don't have to select on that.
How can I have it so that DON'T have to select the Bluetooth device and have this done automatically?

- The Bluetooth connection randomly gets cutoff.
On these occasions, the system askes me to select the Bluetooth device to connect to again. If this is not spotted in time... then it just silently goes away.
Has anyone else experienced this?
(I know there is no problem with the Fortuna, as it works perfectly fine with the iPaq.)
