I just came here to ask why it hasn't been done already!

If Nokia does it, I'd buy one!!!

there you go. my idea is to have a gsm that functions as a gprs modem and a bt gps. in finland practically everyone has a gsm phone (i understand this is not the case globally (yet)), so that is the one and only thingie always with you. gprs is pretty common to have in it, but the only companies that have integrated gps to it are benefon and garmin. benefon (finnish) is struggling with economical problems (since they don´t make goodies that work with other manufacturer´s equipment) but here is a great chance for nokia, ericsson and samsung. make a phone that has gprs( or maybe umts), gps and bt to transfer audio, video and/or position data. pronto!

I am sure you are not alone.

I am also sure that a few manufacturers are working on it. Technically, it is not difficult. They just have to be convinced that there is a market. they are probably convinced by now.

It should not be long (1 year?) that your wish may come true.

A Motorola A920, see here:

Symbian OS (not my cup of tea), no BT though.

But it is getting close. But I doubt it will ever hit the shop shelf as it is though.
