Hi,

Does anyone know the pinout for the sapphire RGM-2000 antenna, the new small 5 pin connector.

Cheers.

what are the wire colors?

You may also be able to figure it out the other way round, working from the PDA connector. What PDA do you use?

Only four wires are required, Ground, Power, RxD, TxD .

Thanks for the reply,

I use a Mitac 338, I haven't got the antenna just the PDA cable, I was hoping to use an Emtec antenna, but will obviously need to make up a cable. I tried to find out which pins on the socket had voltage but didn't seem like any (I know there must be) I then wondered if there had to be a load connected.

Thanks for the help,

I've ordered a sapphire antenna now, I didn't really want to pay over £100 but it should just work straight off without any messing about.

Cheers.
