UK Postcodes App Installation problem

Hope someone can help. I have searched the forums and read the various issues people have had installing this cool add on for Tom Tom. I am new to owning a pda so I may being doing something simple wrong. Unfortunatley I cannot find a solution. I have done the following:

- Installed Checkpoint 3.2
- Installed ttncontrolarm to default location on PPC
- Copied Ukpostcodes.exe and UKpostcodes.dat to a directory called Ukpostcodes on my cf card. They are in the same directory.
- Created a shortcut to ukpostcodes.exe as instructed in the windows\startmenu folder.

Whenever I try and start the application I get the following error:

There is no application associated with "ukpostcode". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application.

Dell Axim X5
Tom Tom 3
256meg CF Card.

Hi Kipp,

I wonder if you have accidently made a shortcut from the ukpostcode.dat file instead of the .exe file? Try deleting the shortcut from the startmenu folder and recreate it.
