send an email to cameras_at_pocketgpsworld.com and let us know which ones are categorised incorrectly and we will fix this in the next release.

Great job everybodies doing there keeping us up to date here and in europe now, just one question, I installed the new files, UK files all show fine, went to France and nothing! Are there any in France in the data base? I have slipped the continental file into my france map folder, but still no cameras to be seen on the map, and yes I have enabled them in POI........?

Best regards David

The continental Database seems to only cover Holland.

Do your instructions for Copilot Live 4 installation of Safety Camera Database work exactly the same as for Copilot Live 5?

I did back in June ref Gatso 1362 at -1.23432 50.85239 and that is still in the new database. Also Gatso 3779 at 3.34038w 53.47514n is still in the middle of the north sea off Holland.

Please keep the updates coming in. I have taken on the task of updating the database and being retired I will have more time to spend on it (aaaaaaaaah).

Sorry that I missed deleting 1362, and I had spotted Gatso 3779 but it was too late to change it Embarassed

Must do better next time.

There's bound to be a few omissions/errors, just thought it was worth mentioning. Also noticed a couple on the M27 which I'm sure have now been removed as I'll be passing through them today on my way up to Stratford Manor I'll see if they are still there.

I've found the download link for the camera database, but I'm unsure about using this with TomTom3 as it isn't listed.

Could someone kindly advise?

Andrew,

It is OK to use the database with TTN3. The instructions are the same as those for TTN2.

I don’t think that it is compatible with CP5 without modifying it as when you import it, it should have at least 4 fields for the address columns and its got less

It works ok in CP5, just import the pocketgps_uk_gatso.xls file as per the instructions as a custom poi. It only needs the name, Latitude and longitude fields.
