Rather than just offering the maps though, you have to buy Smart ST with them
Out of interest, does anyone know if I bought ST v2 with the US maps, would I be able to use my v1.9 UK maps on it? _________________ TomTom 6 - SPV M5000 and WM6

What is the X in 1.9X? I have used 1.96 EU maps with v2 software, but you can't use 1.91 maps.... _________________ Tim |

OK, if it is 1.96, you have to load up whatever maps you want, then deinstall the 1.96 desktop and install the V2 desktop and register the application. You can then use your 1.96 maps with the 2.0 app. The downside is that you have to do this every time you want to use different 1.96 maps..... _________________ Tim |

Ah, that's good to know. I haven't tried it since the arrival of SP2. _________________ Tim |

Hi, new today!
I am visiting the U.S.A in about 6 weeks time where I understand the U.S. maps are cheaper......?
If I buy the U.S. maps there for my icn630 V2, will they work O.K.?
I thought there was some registration issue where you could not buy maps for the U.S.A in the U.S.A if your original hardware/software originated and was registered in the UK?
Navman were not helpful in there reply to this about 2 months ago.
I would appreciate any info from anyone.
Thank you
John |
