THe Traffic Info (TMC) logo on my Octavia's Infotainment system has a had a red line through it and "No Reports Available" displayed on the screen.

It no appears TrafficMaster has ceased transmitting the necessary data and the live traffic info (and consequent dynamic re-routing) on VAG, Seat & Skodas is no longer available.

There is much debate about this in VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT forums and seemingly other marques who use TrafficMaster data.

I have reported my disappointment to Skoda who just asked for photo of the Traffic Info screen and my car's VIN. I've had no reply of substance.

Clearly VAG are getting a lot of flak, and it is uncertain what, if anything, will replace TrafficMaster. (A switch to INRIX would require at least a firmware uppate and probably new maps., never mind the cost implications.)

Can anyone throw any light on this?

Cheers,
John.

Trafficmaster TMC-RDS was turned off at the start of April.

Compared to more modern systems Trafficmaster was useless as it only covered motorways and major A roads and the data was often up to 30 mins late after it had been processed and sent to partcipitating radio stations.

As you've seen, many owners are blaming their car manufacturers but it's nothing to do with them.

Your only option now is to either wire in a standalone SatNav wih traffic or use Android Auto Google Maps, or similar, if you can.
