Ipaq 3870 loosing Bluetooth connection

Hello

I just recieved a new Globalsat 338 bluetooth GPS reciever with Oncoursenaviagtor4 software. I am having a load of problems getting the software loaded but my main problem is the IPAQ 3870 keeps losing the bluetooth connection after 1 min 20 sec. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
