Does the Rider have a hard-wire audio out or is it blue tooth only? TomTom can't tell me.

This is important. I have a Eurocom unit that handles music, pillion chat, the phone, sat nav and more. There isn't room in a helmet for 2 sets of headphones - so either the Rider will have to plug into Eurocom or, and this seems very unlikely over bluetooth, it will have to handle music, pillion chatter etc etc.

Maybe Tomtom is after the courier market?

If TomTom are true to their tradition then the Rider will be BlueTooth only. Maybe you find an adapter for the Eurocom that supports BlueTooth Audio Gateway? How does it currently connect the phone?

First - it's an Autocom, with apologies for getting the name wrong 'Embarassed'

It's a popular unit that sits under the bike seat and is linked to both pillion and rider helmets, allowing converstaion between the two. You can plug in an MP3/CD player, a phone and the audio from a Sat Nav. Some people use bike-to-bike radios with them. The music volume automatically dips 50% when it detects and input from a phone, intercom etc etc.

Neat - but bluetooth won't cope with the bandwidth, and you can only have one set of headphones in a helmet.

I was more talking about a BT-to-audio jack adapter on your Autocom.

There are already Stereo BT headphones out there, so bandwidth is not an issue any more - just need to have the right profile.
