Hi,
I am looking to buy another SD card, and looking around I see some photographic sites advertising High Speed SD cards, such as Lexar HS 32x or Sandisk Ultra II 60x.
These are around 1.5 to 2 times the price of a standard Kingston, Lexar, Sandisk 512 card.
Do they offer any significant advantage for GPS users?
I am not having any obvious problems at present, although TTN3 does take a while to work out a longish route.
Thanks _________________ Leigh

I use a bog standard Half Gig SD card in my Ipaq 2210. Been there for 14 months never had a problem. Dont think enhanced speed matters that much, the pda's arn't that fast. I have all the Tomtom stuff on it and half a doz mp3 CD's, every now and then I get a hic up playing these but it don't seem to bother Tomtom.
Hope you find this helpful

Thanks,
That confirms what I thought, high speed makes little difference, except to your wallet

Hi,
'Hi-speed' usually relates to write speed which of no real consequence for TomTom which only needs to be able to read data at high speed.
