Error warning Help needed!

I have a 3400 running on a Ipaq 3870. All was well after I updated to the SP1 (with the new instructions and the little file I downloaded)



Then, yesterday, I clip the 3400 onto the Ipaq and get an error warning Unrecognized Card, saying the name of the device driver for the card in Socket 2 is unrecognised.



If I reboot (soft reset), it repeats the same warning. If I say OK or Cancel, I can load the NAVMAN programme, but it won't get a fix (on the GPS screen the top line is blank)

I can read the CF disk using File Explorer and so the files all seem fine on the disk.

I have tried removing and re-inserting the CF card which made no difference.



What should I do? (In plain english please!)

Contact Navman. Navman are suggesting to hold off applying any updates for the time being as they don't actually have a fixable SP1 at present. It will be released by 18th April. The workaround given is just that, although it has fixed some peoples problems, I don't believe it's guaranteed in any way.
