Hi all. Just found you this week and I hope someone can advise, you must get loads of posts like this but please bear with me. I'm not good at finding my way round new places and there might be an answer here somewhere, but I really would just like some opinions.

Sat Nav for occasional use in the car. I know my local area where I work so no need there, but Holidays, that's where we'll use it.

We travel over to Denmark pretty much every year, and would like something which works over there. Anyone had any experience of systems functionality in Scandinavia?

I have been thinking about a Nokia Smartphone 6670 and a bluetooth system such as TomTom or Route 66, the main reson being that we both get a new phone on contract soon, so this would be ideal for keeping costs down. Another bonus would be the portability factor, as it would be picked up and taken where ever we went. Another option would be a PDA and similar setup, however, I don't really have any need for a PDA. If we went down this route it would be the cheapest one possible to do the job as it wouldn't be used for anything else really.

We would also like to be able to load speed camera data to use on the way aswell so bearing all this in mind, which system would you recommend. TomTom and Route 66 seem to be the most prominent but any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

An XDA II on a O2 contract would give you both a Mobile Phone and PDA in one unit. T-Mobile as well as Orange also have their own versions of the XDA.

I've thought about that, and I honestly can't find anything I'd need a PDA for. Trying to use it as a day to day phone would drive me nuts and I'd end up hating it. If I was to get a PDA, it would be purely for the sat nav.

Thanks for the answer.
