An activation error has occurred

I have had a fault with my MIO 168 and had to return it to the manufacturer.
They replaced the motherboard.
On receipt I put the memory card in and booted up.

Copilot reinstalled itself (where are those files lurking?) so I active-synced to the main computer (which worked) then tried to link the copilot activation. via the Internet."

The pocket PC says “An activation error has occurred. Invalid response from server”

ALK, as often, are not answering e-mails.

Anybody know what do I do next? (product was activated mid December)

The installation files (aka Quickstart) are stored in the \2577 folder on the storage card.

Send a mail to Techsupport@alk.com - those are normally pretty quick
