I have a 2210+TTN2 and was thinking of either getting Trafcam or a separate unit, most likely the b2, possibly Road Angel.

The 2210 is always a bit of a fiddle to get going, turn on GPS, power on 2210, turn on bluetooth, start app etc and, fingers crossed, hopefully it works without needing a reset.

The b2 looks a neat solution, just stick the unit on the cradle and away you go. However I need it for my bike so would have to buy another installation kit.

Does anyone know how good the Trafcam s/w, features and database are like compared to the b2?

Cheers
Simon

Trafcam requires a PalmPC or PocketPC so would be no simpler to operate than your current setup.

I reviewed the B2 a couple of years ago and was impressed. The database was very accurate and the unit easy to operate and set-up. There are a lot of wires though! It's still in my opinion the best of the GPS based alert systems. The laser detector isn't soemthing you can rely on but that applies to all the systems, laser speed measurment devices will almost certainly have captured your speed before the laser alerts Sad

Trafcam does work with TTN3 very well, but I wonder about it's ability to cope with Nav 2004 in the future.

I personally renewed until May and then I make a decison on wether to stay with it. it really depends on what TomTom do with the SDK application!

I am also concerned about TomToms plans for the SDK, however I am experiencing the usual delays in getting any kind of response for them.
