Don't worry too much about not knowing how to use your device. We have all been there, I'm sure. Really, the best advice I can give is to sit down with a mug of tea and read the manual(s) which came with your device (possibly as a .pdf installed onto your PC's hard drive) and then experiment with the unit itself. I'm still having features pointed out to me that I didn't know existed. As far as seaching goes, type London into the "Area" field, then key in the first few letters of the road into the "Road" field and see what roadnames get returned. If you know what Borough the road is in, all well and good. If you know the postcode, even better (in most cases).

The thing is that you have to use the device to better understand how it works.

As to using the forums, you'll get better use from them if you keep all questions relating to a particular item in the same Topic thread. Peolple don't like having to jump between posts to see what answers have actually been given; it's much easier for them to just scroll through a thread.

I took your advice so me and my pin300 are getting on well, your support is much better than navmans.
