TT Go Case... STILL waiting...

I bought my TomTom Go in early July (when I first saw them released). I registered it on the TomTom website immediately, and it is now almost December and I still haven't received the case!

When I originally registered TomTom sent an email saying I would receive monthly emails giving an update on the status of the TomTom Go case, but these have never occurred either.

I previously sent an email to TomTom support in September asking when I could expect the case, but the very useful response from them was – “please register your unit on our website!”. Thanks guys!

It’s frustrating that the case hasn’t arrived yet because the TomTom itself is great and it’s a shame that the case is now giving a poor experience…

Got TTG at end of Sept. Registered with a promise of case in 28 days. End Oct I e-mailed TomTom. Got a promise of 10 days delivery. I was going to chase them again after three weeks, but went on holiday instead. Got back after a week and the case was here. 9 weeks in all.

I got my TTG last week and the case came with it? is there another case i should be getting?

No, the case you received in your GO box is the case referred to in these posts. The cases were not available to early purchasers - hence the sometimes long wait for the cases to arrive.

I was the person who received two - but only because my first GO was faulty (would not hold charge) and I received a replacement. Because I registered both devices I duly got two cases delivered when they did become available. Neither of mine took more than 4 weeks.

I still have not got my case, despite registering in September ! Can anyone post me the email address for the tomtom so I can contact them. Been on their site, but can't find it !!

well this is my question i sentin to Customer Support

What are the key benefits of TomTom GO? none without a carry case and it has been 6 mouths now and still NO carry case I think this will be the last time I buy ant think that you make and two mouths past from my first e-mail to you most disappointed with your company by a long way as you don’t deliver the goods you say you will I feel that I should have a new tom tom go to replace the one I have that is getting knot about by not have a carry case that you should have supplied with my tom tom go in the 1st place .

I registered for the case when I got my GO, and was told 4 weeks. I waited about 6, then posted a question on the TomTom website. The support guy who answered asked for my details again and said he would 'manually register me'. My case arrived within the week.

Post a question, it might work for you also
